Toni Cook (née Lunn) is a highly experienced freelance drama and theatre practitioner and creative arts consultant. Over the last 20 years she has created and facilitated inspiring and exciting workshops, performances and projects for thousands of participants in local, regional, national and international settings.
Toni has had projects commissioned by theatre companies, repertory theatres, voluntary organisations, prisons, national charities, local authorities, schools and universities to deliver a wide range of issue based performances, creative consultations, long term projects and workshops for children, young people and adult community groups.
Toni is experienced in working with all ages, abilities and types of community groups. She has worked with children and young people from toddlers through to post graduate students. She has worked with many community groups in a wide range of settings including adults with learning disabilities, offenders, looked after young people and older people in care.
Toni is committed to inclusive working methods, having worked extensively with disaffected and hard to reach young people including those with severe learning disabilities. She has developed creative consultation methods to work with groups and also developed creative methods of accrediting groups’ experiences.
Toni also creates educational resources with expertise in accessibility.
Toni is an experienced trainer and lecturer and has enhanced DBS disclosure.
Previously based in York and Leeds, Toni is now living and working in Herefordshire.
Toni established and is Chair of Friends of Central Park in Hereford. She is also Chair of St James CE Primary School PTFA, Hereford.
